About Us
Founded in 1994 as InfoTech Associates, we pioneered data driven business applications across wide area networks and the burgeoning Internet. Our active involvement in the security community became public in 1996, when an Internet computer under our management was compromised. Our pioneering work in intrusion detection and incident handling complimented the FBI's successful effort to apprehend, extradite and subsequently prosecute the attackers. The FBI considers the incident a landmark case, using it as a case study for their cyber-crime training program. Since that time, Ra has consistently leveraged it's innovative approach to information security to protect our customers against evolving threats in an increasingly networked business environment.
Credentials
Ra Security Systems(RSS) employs SANS GIAC and ISC2 CISSP certified professionals, all of whom possess an effective combination of hands-on technical skills and security management experience. Many RSS employees are active members of the FBI's InfraGard program in New Jersey. Ra's president, Gideon J. Lenkey, is currently the sitting president and Chairman of the Board of the New Jersey InfraGard Chapter. Ra's active role within the security community benefites our customers by providing immediate access to the latest innovations in information security technology and practices.
